Leak and Flow Testers for the Industrial Production Process

Production assurance and quality control by 100% routine testing / New leak test device CETATEST 820 | CETA at the trade fair “all about automation” in Wetzlar

(PresseBox) (Hilden, Germany, )
In certain areas of application, it is essential that a product is reliably leak-tight against the ingress of dirt and moisture (e.g. sensors and electronic control units) or against fluid loss (e.g. pumps). For other products, on the other hand, it must be ensured that the specified flow rate is maintained (e.g. for cooling channels or membranes). This is why these products are tested for leaks and flow rates during production.

Testing technology and expertise in industrial quality control

CETA Testsysteme GmbH is a solution provider and manufacturer of leak and flow testers and has been active in 100% end-of-line testing for more than 35 years.

Several thousand CETA test devices are in use worldwide in many applications (e.g. in the automotive industry, plastics industry, packaging industry, medical technology) in production lines for quality control.

The CETA range of test devices includes leak testers, mass flow testers, volume flow testers and digital pressure manometers. Compressed air is used as the test medium. CETA test devices can be used to measure leak rates down to 10-3 mbar*l/s (depending on the size of the test volume) and flow rates up to 200 l/min.

With a comprehensive range of test devices and suitable accessories, the right testing technology can be found for practically any testing task.

Leak tester CETATEST 820 - cost-effective and precise

With the high-quality and cost-effective CETATEST 820 differential pressure leak tester, CETA presents its latest leak tester. It is suitable for leak testing directly fillable products. With five available pressure ranges, the usual industrial test pressures between -1 bar and 10 bar can be covered.

It is operated via a 7" touchscreen and separated start/stop buttons. The internal memory can store 100,000 measurement results and 64 individually parameterisable test programs. This allows a large number of product variants to be tested.

The standard RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces and the optionally available Profinet protocol activation for external RS-232-Profinet gateways enable the integration of the tester into automated production lines.

The test device is supplied as standard with a 3-year warranty (optionally extendable to 5 years) and with an accredited and internationally recognized calibration certificate (compliant with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025) at no extra charge. The calibration fulfills the requirements of the international automotive standard IATF 16949.

Comprehensive and competent project support

CETA supports the customer in all phases of their project: from ensuring the technical feasibility and selecting the right testing technology to commissioning, maintenance and calibration of test devices.

In addition, workshops and free online seminars are offered. These events provide practical knowledge on all aspects of industrial leak and flow testing. The current and diverse range of topics is published on the CETA homepage (www.cetatest.com).

CETA exhibits at the trade fair “all about automation” in Wetzlar
