Die so genannten QR-Codes auf den MVG-Aushangfahrplänen an den Haltestellen von U-Bahn, Bus und Tram werden immer beliebter: 2012 zählte die MVG rund 110.000 Zugriffe, etwa 20 Prozent mehr als 2011. Besonders groß war die Nachfrage rund um den Fahrplanwechsel am Ende des Jahres mit fast 15.000 Abfragen allein im Dezember. Der hohe Zuspruch liegt auf der Hand: Mit Hilfe von QR-Codes können Smart-phone-Nutzer ohne Um-wege auf die Echtzeitda-ten aus den Betriebsleit-systemen der MVG zu-greifen, um sich über die aktuellen Abfahrtszeiten an der jeweiligen Halte-stelle zu informieren.
