Webinar: How SAP Archiving with Retention Works in the Field European gas trading group VNG presents its lean retention management based on SAP Archiv

(PresseBox) (Neu-Isenburg, )
On November 9, 2022, at 10 a.m., Uwe Felgenträger, Head of SAP at the gas trading group VGN, together with IT specialists from forcont and kgs, will present how retention management based on a tia® archive led to a 50% cut in data inventory.

In a large-scale document management project at VNG AG, Uwe Felgenträger succeeded in developing and implementing an optimal retention management concept based on SAP ArchiveLink. In his webinar, Felgenträger reports on how he designed the migration from the existing OpenText archive landscape and how expiration dates and deletion processes can be set up to ensure consistent and legally compliant retention. As a result, VNG now has a document archive that satisfies state data protection authorities while providing VNG with a lean and cost-effective solution.

The latest webinar in the kgs funfastfocus series is aimed primarily at SAP managers, OpenText users, and those responsible for the GDPR. The aim of the webinar is to shed light on old archive landscapes, non-transparent document volumes as well as existing OpenText systems. With the insight into his document management project, Felgenträger wants to advise other companies and their SAP managers to set up their archive landscape in a modern and future-proof way.

Those who would like to participate in the webinar on November 9 or receive the recording afterwards can register now: https://www.kgs-software.com/de/webinare/3618/sap-archivloesung-mit-retention-ein-praxisbericht
