AI Needs Context: Webinar Shows How MCP and Archiving Will Become Game Changers in 2026

(PresseBox) (Neu-Isenburg, )
Many AI initiatives fail not due to the performance of the models, but because of missing context and the fact that relevant information is often distributed across different systems. How this challenge can be addressed and why the so-called Model Context Protocol (MCP) plays a key role will be demonstrated in a kgs webinar taking place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

The webinar will focus on how companies can transform their existing data assets into a consistent, secure, and usable context for AI applications. Stefan Franz, Team Lead Research & Development at kgs, will explain why MCP is becoming a decisive lever for standardization and why authorization structures are increasingly turning into a critical success factor for productive AI.

“AI can only reach its full potential when it has the right context – and in most organizations, this context is fragmented,” explains Stefan Franz. “By combining MCP with the kgs solution, this complexity can be reduced while ensuring that data and documents are used in the correct context and in compliance with authorization rules.”

The webinar will also explore how MCP helps organizations escape the integration challenges posed by multiple data sources and AI applications, which authorization models have proven effective, and why archives are increasingly becoming the central source of context for AI. The webinar is aimed at SAP professionals, enterprise and solution architects, as well as IT architects.
