Verbot Titandioxid (E 171) als Lebensmittelzusatzstoff

Mit der VO (EU) 2022/63 zur Änderung der Anhänge II und III der VO (EG) Nr. 1333/2008 hinsichtlich des Lebensmittelzusatzstoffs Titandioxid (E 171) gilt ab dem 07.08.2022 das Verbot in Lebensmitteln. Titandioxid ist ein weit verbreiteter Weißmacher und dient der optischen Aufwertung von industriell hergestellten Lebensmitteln. Lebensmittel, die gemäß den vor dem 07.02.2022 geltenden Vorschriften hergestellt wurden, dürfen bis zum 07.08.2022 weiterhin in Verkehr gebracht werden.
