Mercury beschleunigt BTO Strategie für IT Service Management mit strategischen Akquisitionen

Die Mercury Interactive Corporation (OTC: MERQ), weltweiter Marktführer von Business Technology Optimization (BTO) Software, hat die Akquisition von Service Desk- und ITIL-basierter Technologie sowie den Bereichen Forschung und Entwicklung der Unternehmen Vertical Solutions, Inc. (VSI) und Tefensoft Inc. bekannt gegeben. Zu einem Gesamtpreis von 18.5 Millionen US $ wurden diese Akquisitionen am 7. Juni 2006 abgeschlossen.

In Folge der Transaktionen ist Mercury nun Eigentümer der VSI PowerHelp IT Produkte und der damit verbundenen Kerntechnologie. Des Weiteren wurden die Bereiche Forschung und Entwicklung, Personal und Produktion im Tefen Industrial Park in Nordisrael erworben. Mercury führte diese Akquisitionen als Teil seiner
