110 MAN TGM 18.290 4x4 für das THW

Technisches Hilfswerk modernisiert Fuhrpark / Symbolische Schlüsselübergabe auf der Messe Interschutz

Insgesamt 110 neue MAN Lkw vom Typ TGM 18.290 4x4 erhält das Technische Hilfswerk (THW) bis Ende 2010. Für die Bundesanstalt THW nahm der Präsident Albrecht Broemme den MAN TGM, einen Gerätekraftwagen (GKW 1) für den Ortsverband Berlin Tempelhof-Schönefeld aus der Hand von Josef Höfer, Leiter Verkauf Lkw Neufahrzeuge Lkw der MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland Gmbh entgegen.

Ein ursprünglicher Auftrag des THW über 56 Neufahrzeuge wurde aus Mitteln des Konjunkturpaketes II um weitere 54 Einheiten aufgestockt, deren Auslieferung 2010 ihren Abschluss findet. Die Allradfahrzeuge sind mit MAN D08 Common-Rail-Motoren (290 PS) ausgestattet und verfügen über das automatisierte MAN TipMatic-Schaltgetriebe.
