Ein Kühlkörper, der sowohl die Wärme von der Platine ableitet, als auch zur Montage an die Gehäusewand dient, ist eine der Besonderheiten der 3.5" CPU Board Serie WAFER-KBN-i1 aus dem Hause ICP Deutschland. Die einfache Montage mit dem integrierten Kühlkonzept macht das WAFER-Board für Systemintegratoren interessant, die ihre eigene industrielle Computerlösung entwickeln wollen. Die Serie umfasst zwei SoC Varianten: Ein sparsamer GX-210HA mit 1.0GHz und nur 9W Leistungsaufnahme sowie ein leistungsstarker GX-415GA mit 1.5GHz und 15W.
