HSH liefert XPASS-Komponenten an über 2000 Verwaltungen aus

Nach einer mehrmonatigen Pilotphase in über 50 bundesdeutschen Kommunalverwaltungen hat das Unternehmen HSH Soft- und Hardware Vertriebs GmbH die für das neue Datenaustauschformat XPASS notwendigen Softwarekomponenten und -module an über 2000 Einwohnermeldebehörden ausgeliefert. Mittels XPASS - dem neuen XÖV-Standard für Passdaten - ist es möglich, die Inhaltsdaten über das Transportprotokoll OSCI an die Bundesdruckerei zu senden. Damit entfällt zukünftig die Notwendigkeit, proprietäre Transporttechnologien vorzuhalten. Dies war in den vergangenen Jahren notwendig, weil die zu übermittelnden Daten für Reispässe und Personalausweise einen besonders hohen Schutzbedarf haben.
