Das Rock-Fieber greift weiter um sich. Entwickler Harmonix und MTV Games veröffentlichen gemeinsam mit dem Vertriebspartner Electronic Arts das Musik-Videospiel Rock Band 2 am 26. März 2009 für die PlayStation 3 und PlayStation 2 in den Handel kommt. Rock Band 2 für Nintendo Wii folgt am 23. April 2009.
