Bundeswirtschaftsministerium startet Wettbewerb "Erste Wege ins Netz"

Das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Arbeit startet heute den Wettbewerb "Erste Wege ins Netz". Ermittelt und prämiert werden vorbildliche Aktionen, die noch mehr Menschen an das Internet heranführen. Gegenwärtig nutzen in Deutschland rund 53 % der Bevölkerung ab 14 Jahren häufig oder gelegentlich das Internet. Das ist mit über 40 Millionen Nutzern schon heute eine Spitzenposition in der Welt. In ihrem Aktionsprogramm "Informationsgesellschaft Deutschland 2006" hat die Bundesregierung das Ziel formuliert, den Anteil bis 2005 auf 75 % zu steigern.

Mit dem Wettbewerb will das Bundeswirtschaftsministerium gemeinsam mit den Kooperationspartnern "Initiative D21" und der "Stiftung Digitale Chancen" neue Wege
