Advantage VITRONIC: Laser technology leads the way

Next generation TollChecker will be introduced at Intertraffic

(PresseBox) (Wiesbaden, )
At Intertraffic 2012 in Amsterdam VITRONIC will present innovative enforcement solutions for tolling as well as for speed and red light enforcement.

With the latest TollChecker generation VITRONIC not only presents a future-proof solution for multi-lane free-flow tolling systems but also responds to an important task for Europe: TollChecker is already capable of fulfilling the interoperability requirements for a European Electronic Toll Service (EETS).

Exhibited at Intertraffic for the very first time, the new tolling system gives an insight to the future of toll collection and enforcement: The compact, light-weight system sets new standards for product design and performance. At the same time the result of R&D is represented by advanced technology for reliably detecting, identifying and classifying all kinds of vehicles. The prestigious “Ecotaxe” project in France will be the first to employ this leading technology from VITRONIC on French national roads.

With PoliScanspeed and PoliScanredlight VITRONIC will present state-of-the-art systems for both speed and red light enforcement. Both systems stand for reliable, innovative LIDAR technology to improve road safety. No in-road equipment is needed to capture up to three times more violators than conventional systems. Multiple vehicles on multiple lanes can be tracked easily, even in demanding situations such as curves or road-work areas. The latest software guarantees the system’s easy handling.

At Intertraffic another new tool for easy deployment will be presented: For the mobile PoliScan system VITRONIC now offers a remote-controlled tripod head that allows for automatic adjustment.
