This year's USU World took place from June 3-5, 2025, at the Confertainment Center of Europa-Park Rust under the motto “Where High-Tech Turns Upside Down!” Over 350 managers and professionals gathered for three days in this eventful location to attend inspiring presentations on current trends in IT and Customer Service Management, gain insights into USU's strategic developments and exchange ideas on future-oriented solutions via discussion forums and user group sessions. The focus was on the key topics Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Financial Operations (FinOps).

Tamara Tomasevic (Head of Program Development at CIONET) addressed the new responsibilities of IT managers in the age of AI, discussing why a new understanding of IT leadership is needed in the age of AI. Representatives from the Baden-Württemberg Police and the Federal Ministry of Defense also emphasized the key role of IT management in their presentations, sharing their visions and innovative IT concepts for the future.

The USU World started with the International Partner Summit on June 3rd, welcoming over 40 participating partners. USU provided insights into current market developments, strategic customer projects and international success stories. Special attention was paid to the USU roadmap, current growth drivers, as well as the strategic product strategy, and selected product innovations. In addition, USU reported on the current status of integrating saasmetrix, a specialist in SaaS management, into the USU Group.
