TENTE-ROLLEN GmbH, a leading global manufacturer of castors and wheels, is undergoing a strategic reorganization. Effective April 1, 2025, the distribution structure will be reorganized and transferred to a stand-alone company. The newly founded TENTE Räder und Rollen GmbH will be responsible for sales for Germany and Austria, while TENTE-ROLLEN GmbH will continue to function as a production company.
Focus on efficiency and customer service
The purpose of the new setup is to increase operational efficiency and further optimize customer service. While TENTE-ROLLEN GmbH focuses on its core competencies – Production, Product Lifecycle Management and Supply Chain Management – TENTE Räder und Rollen GmbH will invest all its power into sales and customer support.
TENTE Räder und Rollen GmbH is – just like TENTE-ROLLEN GmbH – a wholly owned subsidiary of TENTE International GmbH. This transition will enable a clear separation of operational and strategic tasks and strengthen the Group’s competitiveness.
New leadership structure with proven expertise
The foundation of the new company also entails a change in leadership. Alexa Engels will become the new managing director of TENTE Räder und Rollen GmbH. CEO Peter Fricke is convinced of her competence: “Alexa Engels has graduated from our dual studies program, completed her Master of Science and is now taking over the management of the sales company for Germany after 16 years at TENTE. I am pleased that, at TENTE, we can promote employees all the way from their first training, throughout gaining professional experience up to become managing directors.”
André Distel and Roland Dörner remain managing directors of TENTE-ROLLEN GmbH.
