The harvest season is a crucial moment in the wine production cycle, when the grapes reach their optimum ripeness for harvesting. This period, which varies according to the region and climatic conditions, marks the beginning of a process that requires careful attention and precision to guarantee the quality of the wine.

Laboratorio Tenomar offers a wide range of analytical services for monitoring ripening, fermentation and ecological control, designed to accompany producers at every stage of the harvest process. With the aim of guaranteeing quality and compliance with organic regulations, the laboratory offers its customers packs of analyses ranging from monitoring ripening and fermentation to organic control of harvests.

Among the outstanding services are essential physical-chemical analyses, such as Brix, pH, total acidity, potassium, IPT, anthocyanins, tannins, gluconic, amine nitrogen, ammoniacal nitrogen and NFA, among other relevant parameters for the evaluation of wine quality. They also offer pesticide analysis with a coverage of 350 active ingredients, guaranteeing ecological control and product safety.

Laboratorio Tenomar is also recognised as an Official Control Laboratory for organic production, which ensures that all processes comply with current regulations. For producers interested in aromatic profiles, the laboratory performs both pre-fermentative and fermentative analyses, as well as verifying the viability of yeasts by plate count or PCR monitoring.

To prepare the cellar before harvest, hygiene controls are recommended in the cellars (surfaces, environments, handlers...), helping to prevent contamination. After fermentation, the laboratory can assist in the control of spoilage microorganisms such as Brettanomyces, helping to avoid undesirable aromas and ensure the quality of the final wine.
