The German manufacturer of building machines >stock big® in Siek by Hamburg has designed a purpose-built mixing pump for the increasingly important green industry sector of thermal energies. The pump was specifically developed for air-tight filling of drill holes required for the exploration of thermal energy. The >stock big® GeoPump, launched at the GeoTHERME Expo in Offenburg, Germany in March 2009, is easy to use, dismountable and easy to transport, energy-efficient and with up to 80l/min also fast and time-saving. In addition, it is versatile and responds to the many needs of the diverse thermal energy installations sites. As a special feature, the GeoPump FlexV version may be run at either 380V or 230V.
>stock big® have already invited several producers of specialised thermal ready-mixed mortars to test their products directly in the new GeoPump at the company's research laboratories in Northern Germany. Co-owner Ulli Stock says that machine production is like any survival, a process of constant innovation and learning.
