Polytec GmbH has appointed Dr. Alexander Huber as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 2026. Together with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Alfred Link, he will lead the company into its next stage of strategic growth. Dr. Huber succeeds Dr. Dietmar Gnaß, who significantly shaped Polytec’s success over many years and is now retiring.
Dr. Huber brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in technology-driven industries. Most recently, he served as CEO and Managing Director of ITK Engineering GmbH, where he successfully advanced the company’s strategic positioning and growth. His career also includes senior leadership roles in Industrial Solutions and the Healthcare sector, combining deep technical expertise with broad international management experience.
Dr. Huber’s appointment marks a return to Polytec, where he held various leadership roles from 2001 to 2015. This unique combination of deep company knowledge and external perspective positions him to further strengthen Polytec’s innovation leadership and global presence.
