Mobility Beyond Paved Roads
When roads are destroyed by severe weather or ground conditions become impassable due to heavy rainfall, vital supply and logistics chains often break down. This is where the off-road capable PowerBully machines come into play. Thanks to their extremely low ground pressure, high traction, and excellent terrain adaptability, these tracked vehicles can safely navigate soft ground, mud, and difficult terrain.
“Our vehicles ensure mobility exactly where infrastructure fails,” explains Simon Holland, Head of Sales at PowerBully. “We provide a platform that delivers relief supplies, sandbags, or operational resources such as fuel and water directly to the point of need—regardless of the condition of the roads.”
One Chassis, Endless Possibilities: The Modular Concept
At the heart of the trade fair presentation is the versatility of the equipment carriers. PowerBully relies on two proven concepts:
Chassis models with hook lift: These “Swiss Army knives” of logistics enable the transport of a wide range of attachments. Whether flatbeds for material transport, specialized firefighting modules, or container solutions—the carrier vehicle brings equipment exactly where it is needed. Standardized interfaces, such as a truck-compatible frame width and a power take-off (PTO), make integration for body manufacturers easier than ever.
Dumper models: Designed for clearing and recovery operations after environmental events, the dumper models with robust tipping bodies are ideal for transporting soil, debris, and rubble out of inaccessible restricted areas.
Safety and Quality “Made in Germany”
Safety is paramount, especially under extreme operating conditions. Developed and manufactured in Laupheim, the vehicles feature ROPS- and FOPS-certified cabins. A modern camera and mirror system ensures maximum all-round visibility—crucial in complex operational scenarios.
Proven in Practice: From Blatten to Flood Protection
The performance of PowerBully vehicles is not just theoretical: Civil protection authorities in Lower Saxony, through the Lower Saxony State Office for Fire and Disaster Protection (NLBK), have relied on this tracked technology from Kässbohrer for several years.
In Blatten (Switzerland), the PowerBully also proved its effectiveness during the clearance of humus material following a major landslide in 2025:
“In this kind of terrain, tracks are indispensable—you simply can’t get through with wheels,” says Stefan Ritler, an experienced operator in alpine environments who worked with the PowerBully during the Blatten operation.
Experience PowerBully at Interschutz 2026
Visitors to Interschutz can experience the vehicles live at booth L48 in the outdoor exhibition area. The PowerBully team looks forward to discussing customized body concepts and specific deployment scenarios in civil protection.
