FEEL THE REALITY - virtual.digital.original

Construction and industrial hoist manufacturer releases teasers for bauma 2022

(PresseBox) (Asbach-Bäumenheim, )
We have been counting down the days and finally the time has come – bauma in Munich will take place again. Surely visitors and other exhibitors are looking forward to it as much as the manufacturer GEDA GmbH from Asbach-Bäumenheim in Bavaria. After this long pandemic in particular, it will be a joy to meet longstanding partners, customers and even friends again at the exhibition. Held every three years in Munich, bauma is much more than just the world’s largest trade fair for the construction, building materials and mining machinery industries – it is the beating heart of the sector. The construction and industrial hoist manufacturer GEDA GmbH has been exhibiting here for almost 60 years and is therefore one of the veterans at the event. It would have been highly disappointing if this platform for presenting pioneering innovations could not have taken place. Although the pandemic has shown us how important the progressing digitalisation is (might this be a hint regarding the GEDA trade fair stand?), it can never replace an event such as bauma.

The GEDA stand and the GEDA team will be on the outdoor area as usual, at stand FS.1004/1. Visitors can look forward to the entire range of height access products for construction and state-of-the-art hoist solutions for the industrial sector – GEDA products with the original “Made in Germany” quality that has been known and appreciated on the market for over 90 years. In addition to this, the comprehensive digital range from GEDA sets new standards in the construction hoist industry and will be presented at the trade fair in detail. To complete the theme, we can already report that the concept of virtual will play an important role and will surely result in a few surprised faces at the trade fair. -> FEEL THE REALITY – virtual.digital.original

Highlight 1: virtual

bauma is by far the most important trade fair for GEDA, with an immense impact all over the world. This is where the entire industry comes together, and the presented innovations will reverberate for many years to come. The opportunities offered by an event such as bauma come along only every three years. GEDA has created an ideal alternative for creating another opportunity of communicating with the national and international public in a constructive and productive manner. As a medium-sized company, we like to pick up future trends and are looking forward to presenting a new innovation at bauma 2022. The tagline at our GEDA trade fair stand will be “feel the reality”. An interactive virtual environment will be appealing to all senses of the visitors. They can look forward to what exactly is behind all this and find out for themselves how the “other reality” feels. We have gone to great lengths to present this topic in a manner fit for an event like the bauma, which is unlike any other trade fair.

Highlight 2: digital

This topic has even made it into the tagline that GEDA chose for bauma 2022, clearly illustrating how important continuous digitalisation is to the medium-sized manufacturer of industrial and construction hoists from Germany. The innovative mechanical engineering company sees the promising opportunities that digitalisation can offer. The pandemic in particular has shown how important it is not to close off these paths and to always stay up to date with technology. A special feature will be presented at bauma: the new GEDA Central

The construction machinery industry entered the digital age quite some time ago. With GEDA CENTRAL, GEDA offers its customers a platform with convenient digital tools for their hoists. All GEDA services can be used conveniently with one single user account. Immerse yourself in the digital world of GEDA directly at the GEDA trade fair stand.

The integrated GEDA INSTALLATION DESIGNER will be presented there: the innovative online calculation tool for anchoring and ground forces. The individual setup can be entered quickly and easily to find the optimum installation configuration for the respective project.

he GEDA BIM CENTER (Building Information Modelling) forms another part of GEDA Central It is a process that provides information throughout the entire life cycle of a building and generates networked planning and collaboration between different technical sections. We offer an extensive range of device models and accessories for download in various file formats to enable optimum digital planning of the building.

But these two features will soon be joined by others. It is very important to us that this is a constantly evolving tool with continuous improvement, in line with the GEDA products. GEDA Central will be joined by other new features at bauma 2022, with the final presentation directly at the trade fair!

Highlight 3: original

1. The GEDA mast system of the future

Continuously improving even tried and tested products to avoid standing still – that is the philosophy of GEDA. Of course we also implement this for the masts and always scrutinise the existing solutions. Just in time for bauma 2022, GEDA will be presenting a well thought-out, pioneering mast solution. All information concerning this innovation will be presented at the trade fair stand and the GEDA team will be on hand to answer any questions.

2. No anchoring? No problem! The new GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F

Is placing anchors not possible due to the architectural situation, glass façades or the conditions at the construction site? GEDA developed a completely new solution for this problem in 2022: the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP. The F stands for “free-standing”, meaning that it can be operated free-standing up to a transport height of 12 m and therefore without time-consuming anchorings. The time saved during installation is therefore one of the most important advantages of the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F. The key features of the proven GEDA transport platforms are of course integrated in the free-standing variants as well, making the device indispensable at a variety of different construction sites. Of course GEDA focused not only on vertical transport during the design phase, but also kept the overall use at the construction site in mind. One important issue here is the transport to and from the construction site. This has to be feasible and practical for anyone. The foundation was consequently designed in such a way that it can be easily transported with a standard lorry. The platform runs on two mast masts that ensure stable movement. Our well-known GEDA UNI-X-Mast is used for this. It will also be on show at our trade fair stand with all key information available.

3. Better than ever before: the new GEDA MULTILIFT P22

The GEDA Multilift series has been established in the market for 15 years and many successful projects have been completed successfully thanks to these devices. The passenger and material hoists have taken particularly the Scandinavian countries by storm and are very popular at a variety of different construction sites. The series previously included four devices for temporary use (GEDA Multilift P6, GEDA Multilift P12, GEDA Multilift P18 and GEDA Multilift P22). Two devices for permanent use are also available. They meet all requirements for transporting passengers and materials at construction sites or in the industrial sector, even in the most challenging circumstances. Rudolf von Bennigsen-Foerder: “Standing still is going backwards": That is why a completely redesigned version of the GEDA Multilift P22 will be presented at bauma 2022.

This device sets new standards, and not only with its appearance. Its improved capabilities are part of the reason why it is a true highlight in the Multilift series. With all the known and valued features of its predecessor, the new lift now features an appealing, modern design. The clean style and the updated colour concept will definitely make this device an eye catcher at the GEDA trade fair stand. The inside of the car is also worth a visit. Ease of maintenance and service were key aspects of the design process. The hoists from the Multilift series are invaluable even when space is at a premium. Compared to most passenger and material hoists, these devices need only a footprint of a few square metres.

4. New landing level safety gates

Another surprise for visitors will be not just one, but two new landing level safety gates. One features a “worry-free” approach in its design: An optimised and even easier-to-use landing level safety gate was developed to meet the market requirements. Fast installation, a high level of safety and compliance with all relevant standards were the key factors here.

Another door was developed for a new market segment, with a focus on use in specific environments. It is often important to offer special doors while not losing sight of the aspects of safety, efficiency and handling. Both doors will be presented and available to test at the trade fair stand.

5. 25 years of transport platforms: the transport platform family is growing for the anniversary year

The question is how to top the history of this best-selling GEDA transport platform after 25 successful years. But we can reveal one thing already: we have succeeded!

Always with an eye on the market, GEDA addresses the many different market requirements, and that is how this new transport platform was developed. Powerful, comfortable and innovative – this device is likely to set new standards for the future. It is characterised by new special features and an optimised load capacity. The secret will finally be revealed at bauma 2022 when we will be able to proudly present the device at our trade fair stand.

6. Optimising logistics in scaffolding

The scaffolding industry is faced with a variety of different challenges on a daily basis. The material hoists can offer crucial support for many issues in this sector, such as the increasing skills and worker shortage, tight restrictions for health and safety, improved awareness for personnel and health issues as well as logistics and transport of material at construction sites. The hoists are versatile, quickly installed and can transport scaffolding material up and down rapidly and safely. Moreover, reducing the employee workload pays off in many areas.

GEDA want to present a special adaptation to the relevant material hoists at bauma 2022. Optimum logistics at the construction site were prioritised in a comprehensive adaptation. As for all new developments, GEDA looked not only at vertical transport, but also at the complete site logistics to obtain the most practical result. The demand and requests of the market were researched in close cooperation with successful scaffolding companies to develop a pioneering innovation. Presented at the GEDA trade fair stand, this device will be more convincing than ever.

THINK BIG! – GEDA joins in live

In 2022, the German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA), in collaboration with the Munich Trade Fair organisers, will be once again staging the successful schools and university student event “THINK BIG!” The unique programme will be offering young people a comprehensive experience with exciting opportunities to join in and the opportunity to experience technical professions first hand. The aim of the initiative is to inspire young people for technology and the construction machinery and building material machinery industries. The entire ICM foyer will therefore be dedicated to training, university courses, careers and professions for the entire bauma 2022, with advice and contacts with potential employers.

As one of the exclusive “THINK BIG!” partner companies, GEDA is participating in the programme with various activities. At “Werkstatt live” (workshop live), work will be carried out on a GEDA transport platform every hour on the hour with the presenter team Ina and Mike. At the GEDA stand, students will be able to compete and win prizes during exciting tournaments a pinball machine, which was designed and built by GEDA apprentices from a variety of different professions. A hoist model will be used to demonstrate how to program a controller, allowing the young people to discover and understand logical connections on a touch display and then have a go themselves.

GEDA training experts will also be available throughout the trade show alongside the apprentices to answer questions about training, university courses and internships.
