CharIN confirms comemso EVCA as a validated conformance test system for DC charging systems and interoperability

CCTS validation confirms standard-compliant, reproducible tests in accordance with IEC 61851, ISO 15118, and DIN 70121 for DC EVSE

(PresseBox) (Ostfildern, )
comemso electronics GmbH has reached another important milestone in the field of electromobility. The comemso EVCA (Electric Vehicle Communication Analyzer/Simulator) has officially been recognized by CharIN e.V. as a validated Conformance Test System for DC EVSE (Charging System Basic + Extended) within the CharIN Conformance Testing System (CCTS) program.

CCTS validation confirms standard-compliant, reproducible tests in accordance with IEC 61851, ISO 15118, and DIN 70121 for DC EVSE

With CCTS validation, CharIN confirms that the comemso EVCA provides reliable, reproducible and comparable test results, regardless of the laboratory configuration. This makes an important contribution to ensuring interoperability and quality within the global CharIN ecosystem.

Validation includes verifying system performance and ensuring the correct implementation of relevant test cases, in accordance with the scope defined by CharIN. Supported standards include key norms such as IEC 61851-1, IEC 61851-23 and DIN 70121, as well as ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-3. Additionally, the test system covers the official CharIN test cases specified in the CharIN Umbrella Documents for DC EVSE (Basic and Extended).

The documents can be downloaded here:
