BITZER at Interclima in Paris

The specialist in refrigeration compressors and air conditioning systems presents new products and innovations from November 4 to 8

(PresseBox) (Sindelfingen, )
From November 4 to 8, BITZER will be exhibiting innovative solutions and new products at Interclima in Paris, the trade exhibition for energy-efficient building technology, at stand 2 L093. BITZER France is responsible not only for France but also Spain and Portugal. With over 3,000 employees in 90 countries, BITZER is a long-standing company which develops and produces a wide range of screw, scroll and reciprocating compressors as well as pressure vessels for air conditioning and refrigeration systems. These are suitable for both stationary and mobile applications.

This year, BITZER will once again be exhibiting at Interclima in Paris. Jean-Pierre Baleydier, Managing Director of BITZER France, stresses that “BITZER France, which was founded in 1994, can look back on a long history. Thus it goes without saying that we will once again be present at Interclima 2013. In addition, this year’s themes of energy efficiency and convenience are important issues for us,” explains Baleydier. “With over 3,000 exhibitors and more than 400,000 trade guests from 177 countries, Interclima offers BITZER a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in discussions.”
At Interclima, trade guests have the opportunity to hear explanations from BITZER experts concerning their latest developments. Highlights of BITZER’s presence at Interclima 2013 are the latest refinements of the NEW ECOLINE, ORBIT 6 and 8, ECOSTAR and CSV ranges of compressors.

Twelve percent greater cooling capacity
The NEW ECOLINE series offers both increased efficiency and wider application limits, and is also compatible with its predecessor compressor. We have succeeded in improving the entire range’s coefficient of performance (COP) – in the case of the condensing temperature, which is important for the annual coefficient of performance, this has been no less than 12 percent. The compressors are now even more versatile. In addition to R134a, they can now be used with refrigerants such as R404A, R407A, R407C, R407F and R507A. We have succeeded in raising the new R404A’s application limit to the condensing temperature of previous R22 systems. This permits the replacement of HCFC refrigerants even in the hottest regions.

Wide application range, low sound levels
With cooling capacities ranging from 27 to 51 kW at 50 Hz and climatic conditions, the new ORBIT 6 Series scroll compressors’ high degree of isentropic efficiency means they offer a wide application range and impressively low sound levels. Their displacements of between 20 and 38 cubic meters per hour make them particularly suitable for air conditioning systems and heat pumps. The ORBIT 8 Series for R410A offers outstanding efficiency, smooth running and reliability. Thanks to their design characteristics, these compressors achieve the lowest sound levels in their class.

Compact and powerful: the ECOSTAR
BITZER has refined the control and evaluation software for the ECOSTAR range’s condensing units. As a result, the ECOSTAR can be monitored conveniently from your laptop or tablet via Modbus. Furthermore, every two minutes a data log automatically records the figures for the past four weeks. The ECOSTAR is so compact that it only takes about one-third of the space required by a multicompressor refrigeration system of comparable performance. Furthermore, thanks to plug-and-play technology, it is very fast to install.

NEW ECOLINE VARISPEED
The NEW ECOLINE VARISPEED semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor features an integrated, suction gas-cooled frequency inverter that can be infinitely adjusted, making it possible to reduce fluctuations in suction pressure and cycling rates and thus lower energy costs. Using suction gas to cool the operating elements of the frequency inverter ensures that electrical components remain at optimum temperature, rendering a fan superfluous.

CSV: variable and efficient
The three screw compressors of the CSV range are designed for use in air conditioning systems for buildings, in heat pumps and for industrial and process refrigeration. With an exceptionally high ESEER value of over five, the CSV series is unrivalled among air-cooled chillers with dry expansion. One of the compressor’s unique strengths is its high energy efficiency. The frequency inverter is integrated into the compressor, carefully fine-tuned in the factory and configured for maximum efficiency.
