The Industrial Refrigeration Network Conference (IRN) will take place for the third time in June at BITZER’s international training centre, the SCHAUFLER Academy, in Rottenburg-Ergenzingen. The English-language conference aims to establish a central platform for industrial refrigeration technology in Europe. Manufacturers, installers and contractors, planners, end users, and scientific representatives and representatives of industry associations such as Eurammon and IIAR are represented at the IRN. The visit and keynote speech by the Vice President and President of the IIAR are among the programme highlights this year. The IRN conference was launched in 2024 by a group of European HVAC&R component and system suppliers.
‘With the IRN conference, we are providing experts in industrial refrigeration with a place where they can come together to exchange ideas on solutions to challenges in industrial refrigeration and heat pump technology. They have the opportunity to discuss trends and challenges and thus actively drive the industry forward,’ says Bernhard Blaeser, Head of Industrial Refrigeration at BITZER. The technical and economic challenges facing industrial refrigeration technology require continuous innovation and adaptation. Only in this way can the industry meet the demands of regulation, efficiency and sustainability.
The conference consists of different formats, including:
// Keynote speeches on the status quo and outlook for the future of industrial refrigeration technology by representatives of the IIAR
// Technical presentations by various players in the industrial refrigeration and heat pump sector
// Exhibition stands of the conference sponsors displaying future-oriented solutions
// Networking opportunities for participants
Registration for the IRN conference is open until 30 April 2026 via the following link: Industrial Refrigeration Network Conference (IRN) 2026. Interested parties can also view the agenda there.
