BioEcho launches EchoLUTION™ Cell Culture RNA Kit for an efficient and simplified cell RNA extraction

BioEcho Life Sciences, the biotechnology company supplying fast and sustainable nucleic acid extraction technologies, announces the EchoLUTION Cell Culture RNA Kit launch, for an innovative total RNA extraction of any kind of cultured cells.

(PresseBox) (Cologne, )
BioEcho has developed a novel product reflecting the company belief that even the most routine molecular biology protocols can be improved: the EchoLUTION Cell Culture RNA Kit. The product delivers dedicated solutions to customers committed with expanding fields such as drug discovery, sequencing, and basic research, such as oncology, immunology, and transcriptomics.

“The single step process innovates the isolation of high-quality RNA out of cells for various applications, reduces the time to result for researchers and saves a lot of hands-on time without making compromises in quality. Further it supports the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives by reducing plastics, solvents, and using reusable components”, states Dr. Thomas Neumann, Chief Commercial Officer at BioEcho.

The EchoLUTION Cell Culture RNA Kit is a most convenient and reliable kit that is easy to integrate, as only standard laboratory equipment is needed. It is based on an ultra-fast lysis combined with the EchoLUTION technology, which enables total RNA extraction from different cell types (fresh, frozen, and stabilized; adherent or suspension cells) in just one single step. This innovative technology makes the purification 50 – 70 % faster than established kits on the market based on the bind-wash-elute procedure.

The result is a premium-quality RNA with superior integrity (RIN: 9 – 10) and competitive yield in comparison to silica-based methods. Further, EchoLUTION technology avoids inhibitory reagents (e.g., EtOH) in the final product, which provides an RNA sample perfectly suited for downstream applications such as RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, and RNAseq. As other BioEcho products, the EchoLUTION Cell Culture RNA Kit reduced hazardous reagents to minimum and decreases the associated plastic consumption to 60 %.
