orcharhino, the leading platform for open-source data center management, announces the release of version 6.7, a major update packed with performance improvements, extended hypervisor compatibility, and detailed documentation for managing Windows hosts.

Performance Improvements: Faster and More Efficient Management 

The orcharhino 6.7 release brings significant performance enhancements to both the orcharhino Server and orcharhino Proxy. Users will experience a noticeable reduction in loading times when viewing the "All Hosts" list in the orcharhino management UI. This improvement is achieved by streamlining the background API requests, ensuring a smoother user experience.

Another key improvement is the acceleration of publishing repositories using the download policy "On Demand". This has been achieved by an optimization of the database.

Compute Resources: New Hypervisor Compatibility 

With orcharhino 6.7, users gain access to new hypervisor compatibility, including support for Proxmox 8 as a compute resource for provisioning hosts. Additionally, orcharhino now interacts with VMware 8 U2, enabling users to deploy hosts using boot disk based provisioning.

Managing Windows Hosts with Ease
