Kvaser Leaf v3 - CAN-USB-Interface jetzt CAN-FD kompatibel und mit Silent Mode

Das CAN-USB-Interface Leaf Light HS v2 von Kvaser ist einer der beliebtesten CAN-Wandler für den Anschluss eines PCs/Laptops via USB an den CAN-Bus. Da aktuell CAN-FD immer weitere Verbreitung findet, hat Kvaser reagiert und hat bereits jetzt den Nachfolger für den Leaf Light HS v2 vorgestellt: den Leaf v3. Damit ist ein fließender Übergang auch für Bestandskunden garantiert, denn beide Produkte werden parallel vertrieben.

Richtig, das "Light" ist aus dem Namen verschwunden, denn der neue Leaf v3 kann einiges mehr als sein beliebter Vorgänger:
  • CAN-FD-fähig (bis 8 Mbit/s), bis 20.000 Nachrichten pro Sekunde
  • Zeitstempelauflösung von 50µs
  • Silent Mode möglich - und das zum gleichen Preis wie der Leaf Light HS v2.
Kvaser bleibt seinen Grundsätzen treu – einfache Handhabung (Plug&Play), hohe Zuverlässigkeit, schnelle Verfügbarkeit. Und last but not least, der Preis des Leaf v3 bleibt identisch zum bisherigen Leaf Light HS v2. Wir haben schon Muster auf Lager!

Natürlich gibt es auch entsprechende kostenfreie Software-Tools für die Inbetriebnahme und die Diagnose. Ferner werden die Treiber für Windows und für die meisten Produkte auch für Linux angeboten. Auf der Webseite von KVASER werden zudem sehr hilfreiche Schulungsunterlagen zu CAN zur Verfügung gestellt.
