Die möglichen Einsatzbereiche von Hochleistungsdrohnen umfassen neben zivilen Nutzungsmöglichkeiten auch behördliche und militärische Anwendungen. Daraus ergibt sich als eine Anforderung für die OEM-Hersteller von professionellen Drohnen ein Höchstmaß an Integrität, eine genaue Produktprüfung und vollständige Transparenz in der Entwicklung und Fertigung. Unser Partner und Motor-Hersteller PMW Dynamics hat deshalb für die Entwicklung und Fertigung seiner leistungsstarken und ausfallsicheren Motoren für Antriebs- und Hubmotoren der ADM-Serie für Hochleistungsdrohnen auf den Standort Europa (UK) gesetzt.

Die vorläufigen Nenndaten der ADM-Serie zielen auf die mittlere Baugröße bei den professionellen Drohnen im Bereich der Agrartechnik, Inspektionstechnik, Vermessungstechnik oder Transporttechnik, auch der Verteidigungstechnik, Sicherheitstechnik und Überwachungstechnik. Als Nenndrehmoment werden 2,6 Nm und als Nenndrehzahl 3750 rpm bei Betrieb bei 48 Vdc angegeben. Die Abmessungen betragen 90 mm Durchmesser und 30mm Gesamtbauhöhe und der Drohnenmotor wiegt nur 285 g. Andere Wicklungen und Baugrößen sind möglich.
