The new M 330 with wide-cardioid polar pattern expands the small-diaphragm microphone series M 300, which now comprises microphones with four different polar pattern for high-quality recordings. Together with intelligent accessories, the series is a system for various applications from a single microphone to stereo / surround and 3D audio.

DAGA 2022 was held at a great location for science & technology transfer. The University of Stuttgart and the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics as organizers as well as the Universities of Applied Sciences for Technology and the Media and many renowned companies and institutions provided important impulses in acoustic research. MTG was pleased about lively interest in innovations from the fields of measurement & sensor technology , vehicle acoustics, noise measurement & control.
Die DAGA fand auch 2022 an einem perfekten Ort für Wissenschaft und Technologietransfer statt. Die Universität Stuttgart und das Fraunhofer-Institut für Bauphysik IBP als Ausrichter sowie die Hochschulen für Technik und der Medien wie auch viele namhafte Unternehmen und Institutionen sorgten für wichtige Impulse in der akustischen Forschung. After a 2-year Corona-break, the leading international trade fair for sensor, measuring and testing technology will once again be held as a presence event in Nuremberg, with more than 300 exhibitors. The MTG trade fair spectrum includes new in- and outdoor microphones as well as acoustic measuring systems for industry, environment and science. One focus is on automotive applications, such as turnkey test benches and innovations for R&D in fields of e-mobility, sound design or quality assurance

From 03.-06.11.2021, the industry could finally come together again after a long Corona-break. The tmt, hosted by the VDT (Verband Deutscher Tonmeister/Association of German Sound Engineers), presented high-end pro audio developments from all areas. The VDT is a world leading and one of the oldest and biggest pro-audio associations. MTG was delighted with the numerous standvisitors and the opportunity to actively share experiences with users, scientists, manufacturers and suppliers.
The esz AG calibration & metrology offers additional accredited calibrations in cooperation with MTG New in the portfolio of the Europe's largest independent calibration laboratory with over 200 accredited measurands from all technical fields are acoustic measurands and the mechanical measurand "Acceleration" in cooperation with Microtech Gefell GmbH. E-mobility changes the world of acoustical engineering. The development of a new vehicle generation is going along with immense progresses in technologies of test bench systems and in the world of acoustic measurement. MTG provides a wide range of innovations for sound-engineers, designing the noise of e-vehicles, including both single measurement tools and turnkey indoor test benches for simulated pass-by and outdoor pass-by test bench systems.
The highlite has been the opera “Notre Dame” by the composer Franz Schmidt. Due to corona restrictions the orchestra and the Prague choir had to be transmitted by fibre optics from the theatre's concert hall to the open-air venue in the cloister courtyard. The responsible sound engineers Stephan Linde (choir /soloists) and Benjamin Schultz (orchestra) underlined, that the used for the transmission cardioid plane mics KEM 975 ideally kept the crosstalk between orchestra and choir to a minimum.
News from the highest authority –the German parliament – are been announced since the opening of the Bundestag in Berlin via the Linearray-Microphonsystem KEM. The innovation focus from MTG`s in-house R&D department is on, e.g., digital measurement mics, ultra low-noise capsules and measurement capsules for extremely harsh environments. New to the market is the flexibly applicable sound power hemisphere SLH - important for consumer & health protection in the consumer and industrial sectors in accordance with current noise protection & machinery directives and standards (EN ISO 3744/3745). Other application fields are R&D, such as product sound design.

Acsoft.Co.UK and MTG recently agreed to cooperate in the field of measurement mics to the UK’s automotive, aerospace and defence industries, as well as for environmental applications. Welcome back to LIVE! This was the motto of the messtec + sensor masters 2020, which took place at the SI-Centrum Stuttgart - the first and probably only live event for innovative measurement technology and sensor technology under corona conditions. The specialised trade fair was an excellent experience and an excellent opportunity to present the new generation of measuring microphones for precise, stable and reliable measurements under varios harsh environment conditions.
MTG has faced challenges the like of which we have never experienced before with a great deal of commitment, flexibility & Innovations.
