Friedrichshafen. ZF bringt 2019 den branchenweit ersten Knie-Airbag mit Gewebegehäuse für einen großen, europäischen Fahrzeughersteller auf den Markt. Der neue Airbag mit Gewebegehäuse ist bis zu 30 Prozent leichter als herkömmliche Knie-Airbags mit Metallgehäuse und hilft den Insassenschutz im Falle eines Unfalls zu verbessern. ZF ist Branchenführer bei der Entwicklung und Produktion von Knie-Airbagmodulen mit Gewebegehäuse.
