Die Web-IO Produkte von Wiesemann & Theis sind nun auch über Modbus TCP ansprechbar.Dabei erlaubt die neue Web-IO Generation neben dem Zugriff auf Inputs, Outputs und Counter noch zwei besondere Möglichkeiten:

1. Ein Modbus Master kann durch Schreiben in einen speziellen Adressbereich z.B. per Write Coil den Versand von frei konfigurierbaren Meldungen per E-Mails, SNMP-Trap oder Syslog auslösen. Auch das Schreiben von Logdateien per FTP ist auf diese Weise möglich.

2. Das Web-IO stellt in Form von 64x 16-Bit-Registern virtuellen Speicher zur Verfügung, der vom Master beliebig beschrieben werden kann. Auf einer bereits integrierten Webseite können die Inhalte dieser Register
