Nach Erhalt aller erforderlichen behördlichen Genehmigungen hat Voith am 1. März 2022 die Übernahme aller Anteile an Voith Hydro vom bisherigen Joint-Venture-Partner Siemens Energy erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Der Technologiekonzern und sein langjähriger Partner Siemens Energy hatten sich am 21. Oktober 2021 auf eine Übernahme der verbleibenden Anteile in Höhe von 35 Prozent an der früheren Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation GmbH & Co. KG verständigt. Mit Abschluss dieser Transaktion ist die Voith Group alleiniger Anteilseigner des bislang als Joint-Venture geführten Konzernbereichs Voith Hydro. Zu den finanziellen Details der Transaktion wurde von beiden Parteien Stillschweigen vereinbart.
