Vizrt signs USD 1 million virtual set deal with a news channel in the Middle East

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 1 million for the implementation of broadcast graphics (BG) products with a news channel in the Middle East. The new virtual set system will be integrated seamlessly with the channel's current Vizrt BG workflow solutions.

The deal includes Viz Virtual Studio, Vizrt's virtual set management system. Viz Virtual Studio will be used for both immersive graphics as well as traditional green screen virtual studios. Viz Engine was purchased to handle real-time rendering of the virtual elements.

The news channel also purchased a 24-camera Motion Analysis Raptor Tracking System. This is an optical tracking system that sends camera movement information to the Viz Virtual Studio software. Vizrt is a partner and reseller of Motion Analysis.
