Zum Beginn des Jahres 2019 wurden mit Dr. Martin Kremmer und Prof. Dr. Peter Pickel gleich zwei Vertreter des VDI-Fachbeirats Max-Eyth-Gesellschaft Agrartechnik (VDI-MEG) als Honorarprofessoren berufen. Beide sind derzeit bei John Deere (JD), bei einem weltweit führenden Landmaschinenhersteller, tätig. Pickel ist stellvertretender Direktor des JD European Technology Innovation Center in Kaiserslautern. Kremmer ist gegenwärtig als Manager Integrated Solutions Technology
Strategy am Standort der JD Firmenzentrale in Moline (Illinois, USA) im Einsatz.

Mit Wirkung 31.01.2019 wurde Prof. Dr. Peter Pickel zum Honorarprofessor an der Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern (TUKL) bestellt. Peter Pickel lehrt dort seit 2009 das Fach Landtechnik. Am 8.02.2019 ernannte das
