Hochschulabsolventen und Young Professionals der Elektro- und Informationstechnik können beruhigt in die Zukunft blicken, ihre Chancen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt sind nach wie vor glänzend. Dies bestätigen 92 Prozent der VDE-Mitgliedsunternehmen und Hochschulen der Elektro- und Informationstechnik, die der Technologieverband VDE anlässlich der Hannover Messe befragte. Lediglich neun Prozent der Unternehmen sagen, dass sie ihren Bedarf an Ingenieuren der Elektro- und Informationstechnik in den nächsten Jahren decken können. Auch die Hochschulprofessoren beklagen einen Engpass an wissenschaftlichem Nachwuchs in der Elektrotechnik. Hier sehen nur fünf Prozent der Professoren keinen Engpass.
