Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) steht für ein automatisches Verfahren zur Identifikation von Objekten über Radiowellen und ermöglicht berührungslose Lesevorgänge von Wareninformationen. Im Handel, in der Produktion und der Logistik wird RFID-Technik immer häufiger eingesetzt. Doch was macht diese Technologie aus und wo liegen die Vorteile für die Anwender? Antworten auf diese Fragen gibt es bei der Veranstaltung "RFID zum Anfassen - Technologie, Anwendung und Potenziale", die am 10. September 2008 im BIBA (Bremer Institut für Produktion und Logistik) an der Universität Bremen stattfindet. Anhand von Anwendungsbeispielen aus der Praxis und Demonstrationen erhalten die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer Einblicke in die Technologie.
