ThyssenKrupp Uhde liefert Chlor-Alkali-Elektrolyse-Technologie an AkzoNobel

Im Industriepark Frankfurt-Höchst rüstet AkzoNobel eine Amalgam-Elektrolyse auf das moderne Membranverfahren um und beauftragte ThyssenKrupp Uhde mit der Planung und der Lieferung der energiesparenden ThyssenKrupp Uhde-Membranzellen.

Im Rahmen des umfangreichen Umrüstungsprojektes werden die vorhandenen Amalgamzellen durch ThyssenKrupp Uhde-Membranelektrolyseure in Einzelelement-Bauweise ersetzt. Die Produktionskapazität wird durch die neue Anlage um rund 50 Prozent auf 250.000 Tonnen Chlor und 275.000 Tonnen Natronlauge pro Jahr gesteigert. Die Inbetriebnahme ist für das vierte Quartal 2013 geplant.
