Der Aufsichtsrat der ThyssenKrupp AG hat in seiner Sitzung am 12. Mai 2010 auf Vorschlag des Personalausschusses Dr. Heinrich Hiesinger (49), gegenwärtig Mitglied des Vorstands der Siemens AG, München, mit Wirkung zum Ablauf der Hauptversammlung der ThyssenKrupp AG am 21. Januar 2011 als Nachfolger von Dr. Ekkehard Schulz zum Vorstandsvorsitzenden der ThyssenKrupp AG bestellt. Dr. Hiesinger wird zum 1. Oktober 2010 in den Vorstand der ThyssenKrupp AG eintreten und zugleich den stellvertretenden Vorstandsvorsitz übernehmen. Als Vorsitzender des Vorstands wird Dr. Hiesinger die Ressorts Corporate Strategy & Technology, Corporate Executives, Corporate Communications, Corporate Information Technology und Internal Auditing verantworten.
