Auf der Banken-Fachmesse SIBOS vom 9. bis 13. Oktober 2006 in Sydney zeigt die AT&T-Tochter Sterling Commerce neue Kollaborations-Lösungen für Finanzdienstleister und deren Geschäftskunden. Kern des Messeauftritts ist das Multi-Enterprise Finance Gateway (MEFG) von Sterling Commerce und dessen neue Target2-Kompatibilität. Das MEFG ist ein Transaktionssystem für Finanztransaktionen zwischen Unternehmen und Banken. Es beherrscht zahlreiche Kommunikationsstandards und übersetzt die Daten jeweils in das geforderte Format, so dass der Empfänger die Informationen in seinen Systemen ohne Probleme weiterverarbeiten kann. Erst kürzlich ist das MEFG als Lösung für den elektronischen Datenaustausch mit dem Gold-Label von SWIFT ausgezeichnet worden.
