Die SolarWorld AG steigerte im 2. Quartal 2016 ihre konzernweite Absatzmenge im Vergleich zum Vorjahresquartal um 39 Prozent auf 342 (Q2 2015: 246) MW. Im 1. Halbjahr 2016 erhöhte SolarWorld ihre Absatzmenge um 50 Prozent auf 682 (H1 2015: 456) MW. Der Konzernumsatz stieg im 2. Quartal 2016 auf 222 (Q2 2015: 171) Mio. €. Im 1. Halbjahr 2016 erzielte der Konzern einen Umsatz von 434 (H1 2015: 320) Mio. €.

SolarWorld konnte das Ergebnis vor Zinsen, Steuern und Abschreibungen (EBITDA) im 2. Quartal 2016 auf 18,5 (Q2 2015: 7,0 Mio.) € steigern. Im 1. Halbjahr 2016 erhöhte sich das AWIKYM npv 98,2 (T6 2855: 1,4) Mnb. p.
