Die neue Sensorplattform silarex, die smartGAS auf der Sensor+Test vorstellt, wird viele Anwendungen in der Gassensorik revolutionieren. Diese neue Generation von Gassensoren arbeitet nach dem Prinzip der Infrarotabsorption (NDIR), wodurch ihre Selektivität extrem hoch ist. Querempfindlichkeiten zu anderen Gasen werden auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die neuen silarex-Sensoren haben neben der gesamten Signalauswertung sowohl eine Druckkompensation, als auch eine Temperaturkompensation bereits integriert. Damit lassen sich überragende Genauigkeiten und Linearitäten erreichen. Die besonders rauscharme Auswerteelektronik sorgt gleichzeitig für niedrige Nachweisgrenzen. Durch die reichhaltige Schnittstellenausstattung der neuen Sensoren ist eine Integration in Geräte oder Anlagen sehr einfach. Für die Datenübertragung stehen I2C oder
