Are counter-offers the new secret sauce for keeping talent on board?

In a recent survey, Swiss recruitment specialist Robert Walters took a closer look at the stance around counter-offers, both among employees and employers. To what extent are employees open to counter-offers when they resign? Are employers willing to include counter-offers in their retention policies? Christian Atkinson, country manager at Robert Walters, shares the main findings of the survey.

Employees' attitudes

The survey shows mixed feelings among professionals regarding counter-offers. A slight majority (51%) would consider a counteroffer after submitting their resignation.
