Am 26. April 2013 endet die Bewerbungsfrist des deutschen Vorentscheids für den Europäischen Unternehmensförderpreis (European Enterprise Promotion Awards). Zur Teilnahme eingeladen sind öffentliche Institutionen und öffentlich-private Partnerschaften, die mit innovativen und erfolgreichen Maßnahmen Unternehmertum fördern oder mittelständische Unternehmen unterstützen - auf lokaler, regionaler oder nationaler Ebene.

Ausgelobt wird der Europäische Unternehmensförderpreis von der Europäischen Kommission. Teilnehmen können Bewerber aus den 27 Mitgliedstaaten der EU sowie aus Island, Kroatien, Norwegen, Serbien und der Türkei. Insgesamt bewerben sich jedes Jahr rund 350 Projekte für die nationalen Vorentscheide. Über 50 davon qualifizieren sich für den Wettbewerb auf europäischer Ebene.
