Die Dortmunder proLogistik GmbH + Co KG stellt unter dem Motto "Pick&Pack" auf der CeMat in Hannover vom 27.-31. Mai 2008 neben anderen Neuheiten zum 25. Firmenjubiläum ein maßgeschneidertes Standardmodul des WMS- Systems pL-Store vor.

Der Einsatz des Moduls Pick & Pack ermöglicht eine auftrags- und artikel-bezogene Volumenberechnung für die Bereitstellung des richtigen Versandkartons in der Kommissionierung. Durch Einsatz dieser Optimierungslösung für den Versandhandel entfällt ein nachträgliches Umpacken vor dem Verschicken der Ware. Ein weiterer Vorteil besteht in der merklichen Beschleunigung der Durchlaufzeiten.
