Now even lighter – O•Z Ultraleggera HLT with Formula 1 know-how
Model Ultraleggera in new High Light Technology/Weight optimised through “Channel Coating” and “Flow Forming technology”/Improvement of driving performance, steering precision and safety/Available in 8x20”, 8,5x20” 10x20“ ” and 11x20”
HLT stands for „High Light Technology“ this referring to the fact O•Z has the most progressive technology derived from F1 and other significant world racing series. “Channel Coating“ and so called Flow Forming technology lends the Ultraleggera HLT wheel mechanical characteristics of a forged aluminium wheel; immensely high stability yet at the same time lightweight. It has even less nominal weight than the previous available Ultraleggera models!
Once again O•Z collecting experience from Formula One as partner to teams Renault and Williams F1, transfers it to the streets. Because a reduction of wheel weight does not only provide a positive impact on racing motor sports. Driving performance, steering precision and safety are improved through reduced unsprung mass for normal street driving vehicles. Depending upon the size, an exemplar of the wheel Ultraleggera HLT weights up to 40 percent less than a comparable, conventionally produced wheel.
The look of Ultraleggera HLT is comparable to the previous model. Once again through use of six double spokes, an image to Formula One is projected. The hub cap made of black carbon fibre exhibits O•Z affinity to motor sports and particularly to the king of motor sports, the Formula One.
Ultraleggera HLT comes in finishes “Matt Black“ and “Crystal Titanium“ in 8x20“, 8,5x20“ 10x20“ and 11x20“.
