Nordex erhält 30-Megawatt-Auftrag von WKN in den USA

Zwölf N100-Anlagen für Texas / Erstes gemeinsames Projekt

Der Projektentwickler WKN USA hat Nordex als Lieferant für den 30-Megawatt-Windpark "Mozart" in Texas benannt. Nordex wird die zwölf Windenergieanlagen vom Typ N100/2500 ab August kommenden Jahres aus seinem US-Werk in Jonesboro liefern. Der Auftrag von WKN umfasst außerdem die Errichtung und Inbetriebnahme sowie den zweijährigen Extended-Service. Nach dem kommerziellen Betriebsstart im Dezember 2012 soll "Mozart" jährlich saubere Energie für 9.000 Haushalte liefern.

WKN USA, San Diego, gehört seit vier Monaten zur deutschen BayWa AG, die weltweit in den Bereichen Agrar, Bau und Energie tätig ist. BayWa hatte sich bislang auf Erneuerbare-Energie-Projekte in Europa konzentriert. Nun kann der Konzern von
