Neues energieeffizientes Beleuchtungskonzept: NEW illuminiert auch den Wasserturm Dahl

Im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes "in einem neuen Licht" will die NEW vier ihrer in Betrieb befindlichen Wassertürme in Viersen und Mönchengladbach präsentieren. Im Rahmen eines energieeffizienten Beleuchtungs-Konzeptes soll der mit 134 Jahren älteste Wasserspeicher der NEW-Gruppe - der Wasserturm Dahl - zunächst noch im Rahmen einer Testphase in Szene gesetzt werden. Zurzeit wird mit einem LED- Strahler (48 Watt) die optimale Position und Fokussierung des Lichtstrahls getestet. Später sollen weitere Strahler die filigrane Fassade rundum in ein warm-weißes Licht tauchen. Im oberen Bereich sind − ebenso probeweise − auf drei Ebenen Strahler platziert, die die Fensteröffnungen von innen beleuchten.
