Die Microcontroller gesteuerten Batterieladegeräte der Serie BLG sind modular aufgebaut und stehen frei skalierbar mit den Ausgangsleistungen 650, 1300 oder 2000 Watt zur Verfügung. Die Geräte wurden vorwiegend für den Einsatz im Kfz-Bereich zum Laden der dort verwendeten Bleiakkumulatoren entwickelt. Außerdem kann mit diesen Geräten die Bordnetzversorgung für Fahrzeuge mit 12 / 24 V Betriebsspannungen realisiert werden. Durch die Implementierung von 5 völlig frei programmierbaren Ladekennlinien wird eine größtmögliche Flexibilität für die Ladung verschiedener Akkutypen unterschiedlicher Hersteller gewährleistet. Die Gerätefamilie verfügt in jeder Ausbaustufe über eine Power-Faktor-Korrektur (PFC), welche einen Powerfaktor 0,99 ermöglicht.
