Morgan Advanced Materials nimmt Hafniumoxid in sein Produktportfolio auf, um den steigenden Bedarf in der Öl- und Gasindustrie zu decken

Morgan Advanced Materials hat sein Angebot an hochmodernen Werkstoffen für die Öl- und Gasindustrie um den Werkstoff Hafniumoxid (HfO) erweitert. Damit will das Unternehmen sein Warenangebot ausbauen und so den wachsenden Bedarf am Markt zu decken.

In Bezug auf die Verbundstruktur ist der Werkstoff Hafniumoxid anderen Werkstoffen wie Magnesiumoxid (MgO) und Zirkondioxid (ZrO2) nicht unähnlich. Im Vergleich zu diesen ist es jedoch wesentlich leistungsfähiger. Hafniumoxid hält Temperaturen von bis zu 2000ºC (4523ºF) stand und ist damit als Isolationsmaterial für Hochtemperatur-Thermoelemente bestens geeignet.
