Heute besucht erneut die Antonow 225 den Flughafen Leipzig/Halle / Es ist der mittlerweile 18. Besuch des weltgrößten Flugzeuges, das ein Unikat ist

Die Antonow 225 wird nach der Landung durch PortGround, ein auf Flugzeug- und Frachtabfertigung spezialisiertes Tochterunternehmen der Mitteldeutschen Flughafen AG, mit rund 185 Tonnen Maschinen-Elementen ‎beladen.

Der Abflug nach China ist für morgen früh 8 Uhr vorgesehen. Ein weiterer Einsatz dieser Art ist für den 17. beziehungsweise 18. Dezember geplant.

Die Flughafen Leipzig/Halle GmbH ist ein Tochterunternehmen der Mitteldeutschen Flug-hafen AG. 2014 wurden 2.331.399 Fluggäste und 910.708 Tonnen Luftfracht registriert. Leipzig/Halle Airport ist damit der zweitgrößte Frachtflughafen in Deutschland.
