Seidel übergibt Landespreis MV beim Ostsee-Meeting

Seit 1993 findet im Hochsommer das "Ostsee-Meeting" auf Deutschlands ältester Galopprennbahn in Bad Doberan statt. "Die Renntage an der Ostsee sind ein fester Bestandteil des deutschen Turfkalenders", sagte der Minister für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Tourismus Jürgen Seidel am Sonntag in Bad Doberan. Seidel übergab dabei den Rennpreis des Landes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern "MV tut gut".

"Gegen den allgemeinen Trend im Rennsport verzeichnet das Ostsee-Meeting steigende Zuschauerzahlen", sagte Seidel, "und bei Trainern und Besitzern ist es wegen des vorzüglich gepflegten, fairen Geläufs sehr beliebt. Die Renntage sind ein guter Imageträger für den Nordosten und eine Bereicherung für das touristische Angebot in der Region."
