Pascal Couasnon übernimmt zum 2. April 2012 die Verantwortung für die Motorsportabteilung der Michelin Gruppe. Der 50-Jährige absolvierte die École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles in Paris und erwarb den Master of Science in Chemical Engineering an der Universität von Arizona, USA. 1987 begann der motorsportbegeisterte Pascal Couasnon seine Karriere bei Michelin als Testingenieur und -fahrer im Forschungszentrum Ladoux in der Nähe des Unternehmenssitzes Clermont- Ferrand. Anschließend wechselte er in das Michelin Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentrum in Greenville, USA. Nach der Rückkehr aus den USA war er für das Produktmarketing in Europa verantwortlich.
